Delete your Sarafamandi account & data
This page explains how to permanently remove your account and personal data from Sarafamandi in compliance with Google Play, DPDP Act (India) and international privacy standards.

line
"Account Deletion Request". We confirm within 24 hours and permanently delete
all personal data within 30 days.
✉️ Request deletion by email
1. What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, mobile, email, hashed password).
- All personal posts, photos, videos, stories, reels and captions you uploaded.
- Your business/seller profile including business name, address, category, GST, photos.
- Your in-app chat messages and comments.
- Your likes, follows, saves, search history and other activity records.
- Your profile picture, cover photo and logo hosted on Cloudinary.
- All device identifiers linked to your account.
2. What we must retain (by Indian law)

These retained records do not include your name, address, chat messages, media or any content that identifies you personally.
3. Step-by-step deletion process

Send an email to support@sarafamandi.com
from the email OR mention the mobile number registered with your Sarafamandi account.

Include this information so we can verify your identity:
- Full name as on account
- Registered mobile (+91xxxxxxxxxx)
- Registered email (if provided)
- Business name (if you are a seller)

We reply within 24 hours to confirm your request and verify identity
(may include a call-back OTP to your registered mobile).

Within 7 days your account is deactivated — you can no longer
log in, post or receive messages.

Within 30 days all personal data listed above is permanently
deleted from active databases and Cloudinary media storage.

A final confirmation email is sent to you when deletion is complete.
4. Cancel a pending deletion
If you email us within the 7-day deactivation window saying you changed
your mind, we will restore the account. After the 30-day permanent deletion, the account
and all data are gone and cannot be recovered.
5. Refunds for sellers
If you delete a seller account while an active ₹6,000 + 18% GST (₹7,080) yearly membership is running, the
membership is non-refundable per our Terms of Service. Deletion still
proceeds as requested.

Important: For security reasons we can only process deletion requests
from the email address or mobile number registered with your account. Requests from
unknown addresses will be denied.
